We're Writing An African Home Decor Book! Closed 'Til August.

It's been a busy Spring at xN Studio, and we're just getting started. In May 2022, our founder Nasozi Kakembo inked a book deal with Abrams Books! (You might already own some of their key titles, like Justina Blakeney's Jungalow and New Bohemians! Needless to say, we're in good company.)

The African Decor Edit (working title), coming in 2024, will showcase Africa's most iconic contributions to contemporary home decor, and to do this, we're headed out on a 5-country tour in Africa this summer! You can find us in Morocco, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe! The book will cover 15 countries in total, and countless more home decor objects.

We'll then set off to begin home tour shoots in the Fall. We're curating elevated and contemporary homes that incorporate African home decor objects in innovative and ethical ways, and for this we'll be touring interiors throughout the U.S., Europe, and Africa.
