It is a reflection of over a decade's worth of relationship building, ethical design, and over two years of book development in Africa. Our Origins and Our Why.

xN Studio is a multi-disciplinary design company founded in 2011 in Brooklyn and Kampala. We work with artisans to fortify existing networks among and between independent creatives in Africa, including Uganda, Ghana, and Morocco. The end result is a home decor lifestyle brand that resonates with a global audience. We are Black-owned.

About us
xN Studio founder Nasozi Kakembo discusses product development with ethical women's cooperative president in Morocco. This cooperative specializes in traditional Moroccan rugs, carpets, and pillows.

Uganda educational development, primary school, and social impact

IMPACT. Mukono Foundation

In 2014, xN Studio forged a partnership with Suubi School, an orphanage school in Mukono District, just outside of Kampala, Uganda. Together, they provide scholarships and funds for construction and maintenance of educational facilities.
